As senior project manager & director, I direct a team of 5 project managers and lead one creative team across 5 accounts from healthcare to retail. I lead and guide creatives as they work to develop projects in a range of mediums including digital, collateral, print ads, broadcast TV & radio, outdoor, trade show exhibits and alternative media. I manage each project through its full lifecycle and through the spectrum of project phases, from strategy to media planning & placement, creative, production and all the way to final delivery. And in addition, I adhere to these standards of project management.- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.- Effectively communicate project expectation to team members in a timely and clear manner.- Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary, during project cycle.- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.-Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.-Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation. Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team.-Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
