I was recruited by W3C Brazil & NIC.br to aid in establishing the W3C Brazil Accessibility Workgroup, a mission-critical group planning and launching initiatives enhancing accessibility in Brazil and supporting the global WAI team.

During this time, I was handpicked to coordinate the organization’s World Information Architecture Day event in Mexico City, as a key part of the overall global one-day annual event. I am proud I made the event a huge success, which was instrumental in inspiring the launch of multiple new chapters for the Institute across Mexico.

I directed the IBM Studio in Mexico City from 2014 to 2016, assuming full ownership of all studio User Experience (UX)/Information Architecture (IA) pipelines for both years, as well as design delivery from2015 to 2016. As such, I assembled, professionally developed, and optimized the performance of a talented UX team completing projects for clients in the Banking, Ecommerce, and Sports/Entertainment sectors across Latin America.In addition, I continued to execute market research identifying new business and solution opportunities within the Finance. For my next promotion, I made key changes to enhance front-end capabilities for the ANBIMA portal, optimizing the portal’s templates and themes, significantly increasing speed, accessibility, usability, and cross-browser compliance.

I was recruited by IBM initially as a Web Developer for the former WebCCoC Department. I quickly earned my first promotion to serve as the Team & Tech Lead for the Web Content Center of Competency managing front-end engineering and content management deliverables generated by staff across Brazil, India, and China for Intranet (w3v8) and Internet (ibm.com) portals hosted across the IBM network.
