At Economedia we strive to be early adopters of the new digital agenda – our readers want all the knowledge in their pocket. Immediately. My role in the organization is to change the mentality and to switch the business model of Economedia to “web first”. But this is not enough: we need to embrace the idea of the agile approach - with small steps, ready to make mistakes and fixes fast. Economedia has always been an early adopter of new technologies and practices and has always been way ahead of the competitors. We make a difference on the media market and we are going to change the landscape of the internet market in Bulgaria.

My key area of responsibility in the Executive Board is the Media Department, but I am also involved in the whole process of synergy between Investor.BG and Bulgaria on Air.In these 5 years I have been part of any significant project in the company. I am familiar with every part of the process of creating web products – from the concept to the launch and the maintenance. In the company we have developed our own content management system with all its key elements – architecture, design, content, advertisement, tag system, user-generated content etc.and I was its project management.

The Media Department of Investor.BG consists of around 60 people. I am responsible for creating working processes and systems for goal setting and evaluation. On a daily basis my duties include monitoring of all processes in the department, including trends and statistical data for the internet market. As a Media Director I am responsible for the development and the policy of all media projects of Investor.BG group. The portfolio of Investor.BG consists of some well established brands – such as investor.bg, dnes.bg, tialoto.bg, teenproblem.net, as well of some niche products (gol.bg, automedia.bg, az-jenata.bg). Our major goal is to provide timely, consistent and objective information to our readers.

The editor in chief is responsible for the independence and the quality of all content of the site. My duties include managing high level team of journalists and financial analysts.As Editor in Chief I am responsible for the development of the site - not only for the content, but also for the technical development, all features and services, that Investor.bg provides to the users. During that period I took part in many trainings on management and I truly believe, that I have developed high level of expertise in motivating people, setting goals, measuring performance, creating successful teams and managing changes.

As Deputy Media Director I am responsible for managing some of the media sites of Investor.BG portfolio. These include the sports site Gol.bg, the biggest teenager news site in Bulgaria Teenproblem.net and the site for cars Automedia.bg.My duties include strategy development, media map monitoring and managing the teams. I work closely with the three editor-in-chiefs in order to maximize the synergies in our media group.This position requires management skills and I am consistently trying to improve my competences. The economic crisis makes every day different and interesting and every new day brings a new challenge in front of us. I really enjoy it!

As journalist and financial analyst I used to write and translate articles regarding international business and markets. My daily tasks included writing currency and commodity analyses, daily reports on the Bulgarian stock market and the international markets.I had the chance to meet very interesting and important people and to develop my knowledge and skills in that field. During that period I took part in several training courses in currency trading, corporate finance and management
