The Greensboro Mural Project is a community arts organization that amplified the voices of the community to influence large street murals depicting social and environmental change. As a member of the organization, I worked to finance, research, manage, and create our projects with the Greensboro community!

Supported the work and mission of The Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, specific to expanding affordable housing in Greensboro and harnessing community voice.

*Coordinated the Young Friends program for middle and high school age youth by supporting four staff members in planning programming that adheres to Quaker Testimonies and Social Concerns.*Maintained weekly communication with the families and supporters of the Young Friends.*Planned and coordinated logistics for the high school spring trip, including fundraising, travel arrangements, and schedule for the week.

Worked as part of a team spread across the southeast region of the US to bring train the trainers trainings of Theatre of the Oppressed to Atlanta, GA an Greensboro, NC. We ran a successful grassroots fundraising campaign of $13k to provide the training at an accessible price point for all participants. Communicated with registrants, secured event space, got donations for trainings, and advertised events.

*Developed multiple programs at national and local levels, including the development of the USA Cooperative Youth Council, designing and coordinating F4DC's apprenticeship program locally based around community engagement.*Responsible for for hosting organizational events, including film screenings, panel discussions, and educational workshops.*Designed and delivered workshops on the topics of cooperative business development, participatory budgeting, and social change using popular education techniques.*Operated as part of a team to host CoopEcon twice, a regional cooperative conference, as well as Reweaving NC a new economies conference.*Contributed to development of the Renaissance Community Cooperative.*Coordinated grant inquiries, applications, and processing.*Helped set and manage the spending of an annual budget of $1.3 million.

*Advised students and student groups around community building, intercultural competency, event planning and community engagement & service.*Developed a syllabus for first year Bonner Scholars engaging them with concepts of race & racism, class, gender, sexuality, and how these issues and identities intersect and affect the work they do in Greensboro.*Planned and hosted two campus based conferences; the MLK National Day of Service and the Community Service Institute. Both were aimed at providing spaces where students could engage with community members on topics related to their service work.

Interned through the summer and fall planning and hosting events for the conference, art exhibits, and general observances of the 30th Anniversary of the Greensboro Massacre.
