With 22 years of experience in sustainable development, Geospatial technologies, and natural resource management, M. Amadou SALL is currently the head of the Natural Resource Management and Food Security Programme at the Centre de Suivi Ecologique (Ecological Monitoring Center - CSE) in Senegal. M. SALL holds a PHD in Geography from the university Cheikh Anta Diop Dakar. M. Sall holds a DESS in Decentralisation and Regional Planning from the National School of Applied Economics in Senegal (ENEA), and a Master’s degree in Integrated Water Resource Management from 2ie institut, Burkina Faso. He completed his training in Geographical Information System and remote sensing from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). His areas of expertise include land management, land cover/land use mapping, land-use modeling, and climate change issues. M. Sall has a working experience in various countries in Africa and abroad; with various categories of institutions (government, financial, NGO and academia).Prior to CSE, M. Sall served for Three years in Environmental Development Action in the Third World (ENDA), international non-profit organization founded in 1972 and based in Dakar , focusing on the fight against poverty and for sustainable development.
