Main Roles· To coordinate and contribute to the development of database, data management and analysis plans.· Act as a focal point of contact for the field sites in Africa and for all study data related issues.· Perform as a member of the project coordination team, & liaise on regular basis with other members of the project coordination and PIs.· To support partnerships and facilitate collaboration with regional tropical disease researchers and public health agenciesResponsibilities· To lead the data collection, compilation, cleaning and analysis per the agreed data management and statistical analysis plan.· To contribute to the development of protocols and procedures for study processes and activities (data collection, management, analysis and reporting, etc.).· To contribute to statistical analysis, including development of statistical analysis plans.· To assist partner groups in Africa with protocol amendments and/or submissions to local ethics review boards as required in consultation with project coordination.· To facilitate the implementation of the study by providing or supervising on-site training and coordinating technical or logistical support to study sites (with assistance from WWARN Regional Centres).· To assist in drafting reports and manuscripts for publication in international peer reviewed journals.· To contribute to the development and training of data management capacity with partner research Institutions in Sub-Saharan Africa, with a particular focus in French speaking countries.
