o Led cotton business agronomy activities in Cote d’Ivoire, including crop productivity, seed production, mechanisation, farmers’ training and Research & Development).o Led research, development and promotion of good agricultural practices and inputs that mitigate soil salinity, climate change, weather and pests’ impact to prevent crop damage.Key achievements• Led a team of 157 peoples, including 5 department heads and 152 agricultural advisers.• Crop average yield increased from 0.9 t/ha to +1.2 t/ha in one crop season.• Farmer training modules developed, covering topics such as (i) Good agricultural practices from soil preparation to post harvesting activities, (ii) Integrated pests management, (iii) Soil health, (iv) Health and safety, (v) Costs and profits management, (vi) child labour and gender issues, (vii) Youth and women empowerment.• +1,250 model farms established to implement Farmer Field School training sessions during the crop season.• +40% working time spent in the field.

o Led the organisation’s activities under the Cocoa Fertiliser Initiative in Cote d’Ivoire, initiated by IDH together with The Cocoa-Coffee Council, fertiliser suppliers and cocoa processors.o Provided technical support to IFDC (International Fertiliser development Center) to analyse and evaluate fertilisers use in the cocoa farming in Cote d’Ivoire.o Provided technical support to OCP (Office Chérifien des Phosphates) in implementing an Agrodealers’ mapping to facilitate its introduction on the Ivorian fertiliser market.Key achievements• 4 Agribusiness Partnership Contracts (credit guarantee scheme) established in collaboration with inputs suppliers and cocoa processors to supply balanced fertilizers to hundreds of smallholder farmers.• 25 young Agrodealers trained and established in the Ivorian cocoa growing area.• +20% working time spent in the field.
