I am a former student with the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) who received their degree in Bachelor of Arts. I majored in Film and Media Studies with a minor in Art. I also hold an associate degree from MiraCosta College in San Diego, California. Throughout her attendance at UCSB, I engaged in several extracurricular programs and activities. These include serving as a production assistant for the Associated Students Program Board and administering multiple exams as the proctor for the Disabled Students Program. Finally, I have had the pleasure of being a radio show host for the 91.9 KCSB-FM radio station responsible for the content and production of her show. My previous jobs and internships helped me to expand my horizons of where I would ultimately want to focus my education and career. I worked at the City of San Marcos where I was a leader in managing multiple projects across multiple departments including Finance, Public Works, and Parks & Recreation. Most notably, I helped to run a significantly complex project for the City Council in which San Marcos residents were provided with a mobile application to report concerns and get informed of local matters. During her UCSB Pollock Internship, I had the joy of learning how to direct and handle complex camera work in several productions featuring Q&A with VIP guests. Since a young age, I have been passionate about social justice and community affairs. I strongly believe in providing equitable opportunities for citizens to have a voice in the media. I have been an advocate in different political campaigns promoting the ideals that I thought would benefit our society the most.While attending New York University for my Master's program in Public Relations and Corporate Communication, I am looking for a new start to my career that involves me handling clients in a PR firm as an Account Coordinator or Account Executive in New York City.
