With 18 years of experience in the TV broadcasting industry, my expertise straddles both the creative and technical aspects of fiction and non-fiction genres. I exact international standards without compromising local flavour, owing to my associations with international series & format-show creators and foreign consultants. Have worked on the licensing shows with CTIT & Sony Pictures and am familiar with license agreements & joint venture agreements with foreign companies.Experience of working in both channel and production companies rounds off my deep understanding and recognition of the dynamics prevailing on both sides while creating TV shows, right from the creative, production, interactive and marketing aspects to the ad sales’ needs & innovations. I take pride in being a good team leader who believes in the potential of its members and who abides by high media ethics.As the Creative Director at ShowM, my expertise at creating non-fiction & reality shows was fully realised. However, I have had many more opportunities of working on fiction shows and hence have an equally good understanding of creating fiction series as well.In my last television job I handled the entire television business as Creative Producer for Hatsoff Productions Pvt Ltd.Having taken a planned break from television to set up a unique educational programme for children across the country called Genius Mind Technology, my marketing and negotiation skills were put to the test. I have gained experience in setting up a business in India under the aegis of an International company, while liaising with both corporate and educational institutions in various cities to grow the business. I look forward to getting back to television full-time, richer in experience and more determined to carry on from where I took a sabbatical. Recently, as a consultant & in the role of the Creative Producer, I handled a singing show in its third season (October 2013 to March 2014), ‘Bol Baby Bol’ on Gemini TV.
