Teach For Bangladesh is a nationwide movement of exceptional university graduates and young professionals who are committed to expanding educational opportunity for all children in Bangladesh, starting with a two-year professional fellowship teaching in high-need communities. This Fellowship is a highly selective, challenging and rewarding leadership development program which prepares participants to become lifelong advocates for equity from both inside and outside the education system.

The Network for Religious and Traditional Peacemakers (Network) is implementing the European Union-funded consortium project "Amplifying Leadership of Local Youth (ALLY)". This project aims to amplify young people's constructive voices and agency in addressing diverse factors of violent extremist narratives in South Asia, particularly in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. The Action builds on a number of previous projects and activities of FCA/Network's program in South and Southeast Asia since 2014 and best practices and recommendations by the member and partner organizations engaged in the region.

Worked in the research project ‘Crisis-led approaches to teaching and learning in Bangladesh: New frameworks for outdoor, blended learning in low-income country contexts’ under the supervision of Dr. Matluba Khan, Professor Mohammed Zakiul Islam, and Dr. Thomas Aneurin Smith which aims to address these challenges and inform policy through developing a framework to combine digital learning with outdoor learning for primary education in Bangladesh, to mitigate the impact of the pandemic, but also to improve children’s educational and wellbeing outcomes in the longer term.

Schools often don’t serve girls’ needs and rights, as many classrooms are still characterized by gender bias, and traditional gender roles, which girls and boys observe through teacher attitudes, textbooks, widespread acceptance of gender-based violence, and lack of leadership opportunities for girls.
