I was born and raised on the Gold Coast, and am currently attending Griffith University where I study a Bachelor of Pharmacy. I aim to complete a Doctor of Medicine, eventually specialising in haematology. I have always been extremely fascinated and passionate about the world of science, particularly regarding medicine. Over the years, I have developed effective time management and organisational skills, allowing me to be self directed to complete all tasks at a high standard. I am incredibly hard working and resilient, and always strive for excellence. I have a very clear vision and am exceptionally dedicated with a strong work ethic. I am eager to grow and enhance my knowledge and use this to greater serve the community. My empathetic and compassionate nature I believe is one of my most redeeming and important qualities, and believe that no matter your academic achievements, ultimately communication and people skills are the underlying character traits that make a great doctor.In addition to my academic goals and academic life, I currently work at Chempro Easy T Robina as a Pharmacy Student, with past employment at The Sporting Globe, which continues to build my communication and interpersonal skills, and positively challenges to improve my time management skills. I love to attend the gym and am passionate about participating in volunteering when given the opportunity.Three Main Transferable Skills:Communication Skills- This is made evident through my role as the sales lead at The Sporting Globe. As a result, I am heavily involved in customer interactions and communication. I have developed my communication skills, learning how to appropriately communicate with a wide demographic.Time Management and Organisational Skills-  Evidenced by my ability to manage all tasks and priorities including work, university study and extracurricular activities. I always complete tasks by the set due date, whilst maintaining high quality work.Teamwork- I am currently the Griffith University Association of Pharmacy Students (GUAPS) Year 1 representative. This demonstrates my teamwork skills as I collaborate and work with a team of other students to arrange many events and activities. In addition to this, my teamwork skills are evidenced by my employment at The Sporting Globe.
