As project engineer for tools evolution section of European plumbing division, developed new products from concept through product launch and had extensive international experience involving project team partners from Sweden, USA, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Britain and other major European and North American countries. Representative accomplishments included:- Solved a historically long-time customer demand problem with innovative design, which was field tested in 2007 and launched in 2008 that has since been a very successful Uponor product.- Selected to represent Uponor on four-year I3CON collaborative private-public European Union (EU) funded research project with 26 industry partners from 14 countries from throughout Europe to enable a transition for an emerging European sustainable construction industry.- Led 2009 competitor technical analysis that resulted in transforming Uponor’s weaknesses into projects for developing superior products markets in Central and Western Europe, Russia and the Nordic countries

Served as the company’s Technical Director for this leading 100-plus employee manufacturer of plastic pipes and film used in agriculture with over 50% market share worldwide. Led up to direct reports in developing all new products, providing primary technical support to customers, directing all pre-production testing, insuring quality control during production and representing the company as speaker at technical associations, conferences and seminars. Representative accomplishments included:- Designed and developed a product line that met the varying installations light and other atmospheric demands of each specific type of crop.- Insured technical compliance with ISO 9000 certification and all European EN standards and product certifications, including EN13.207, EN13.206, EN12.201 and EN13.244.- Developed numerous products still widely used in the agriculture market today including degradable mulching films, thermal clear film and a termiclear DT film.- Personally conducted field research to determine product specifications, formulations and engineering requirements for each new product. - Raised the technical reputation and presence of the company as the first technical director to prepare papers and presentations for sector technical forums such as AENOR, ETIFA, CEPLA and FITECH.

Joined this highly regarded consulting firm while completing chemical engineering degree and then continued with the firm for a year after graduation. Primarily advised on implementation of environmental and quality management systems and on compliance with ISO9000, ISOI7025 and EN45000. Consulted with different clients, including a food laboratories, machinery manufacturer, parts manufacturer, transportation company, concrete tile manufacturer, furniture manufacturer, and ship repair company.
