My inquiries have mainly concerned stories about mafia, camorra, terrorism, waste traffic, child prostitution, connections between the economic system, politics and organized crime. My articles and reports have often given way to the police investigations.For years I have been engaged in battles for press freedom. I worked for the main national press agencies in Italy (ANSA - REUTERS) as a journalist, covering crime news and for national newspaper, radio and television. I produced successful documentaries and reportage for RAI (the italian pubblic television) and I coordinated a team specialized in investigative journalism. For Current tv I produced a 4-episode investigative report on the waste crisis. I've been aworded several journalistic prizes including "Mariagrazia Cutuli", "Wangari Maathai", "Journalism of Inquiry" and 3 times awards in "The Year's Reporter", "Rampino", "Paone", "Civitas", “Giuntella - for freedom of expression and press” and now I'm on the jury of two investigative journalism awards. I use to make the complete realization of a video service, from shooting to editing. I use my cameras and know several video editing programs. I'm among the authors of the books "Dem - Encyclopedic Dictionary on the mafias", "Novantadue, the year that changed Italy", "Il Paese del Veleni", "Under - young people, mafia and suburbs". I held a lectio magistralis at the University of Catania on investigative journalism. I partecipated in several documentaries of international television (BBC-France television) about organized crime in Italy
