Code Resolve is a school club dedicated to creating a computer science and technology community at CUNY Queens College. In addition, we host technical and professional development workshops. As the president of the club and the Google Student Development Club Lead for my school, I run meetings, set goals and tasks for core team members, and lead technical workshops.

The Community Sensor Lab is a workshop series that works with high school students and community members to build low-cost, DIY environmental monitoring sensors. At the Community Sensor Lab, I worked on the development of Air Quality monitoring Arduino sensors​.

Early ID is a selective five-week virtual program dedicated to teaching about business at Citi, gain technical knowledge, and mentorship.

As part of the Nonresponse Followup Operation (NRFU), I visited assigned neighborhoods and knocked on doors of households that had not yet participated in the Census. I interviewed residents in assigned areas, explaining the purpose of the Census, answered their questions, and recorded their answers. As part of the Service-Based Enumeration, I enumerated people without conventional housing and people who may have been experiencing homelessness.

The WIT Project is a software engineering training program empowering underrepresented female college students through socially impactful software development experiences. As an intern, I developed a machine learning driven web application written in Python using Django for the nonprofit YearUp's mentorship program, piloted in August 2020 by ~100 users at Facebook and projected to ~9000 users in 2021

Analyzed donor data to better target donor demographics using SalesForce and Microsoft Excel. Worked with the team to create social media campaigns to improve the company’s engagements with its volunteers, donors, alumni, and followers.

Women in Technology New York Summer Guild Program is a week long program for CUNY student interested in pursuing a CS degree. With WiTNY I learned how to use Materialize, a UI component and Javascript to design a website that would allow environmental startups match with investors.

Google’s Computer Science Summer Institute is an intensive three week program for rising college freshmen. At Google I was introduced to several programming languages such as HTML/CSS, Python, and Javascript. I learned how to use Git to collaborate with others simultaneously and I learned how to use App Engine to deploy my web app online. My group created a web app that would help a user calculate their carbon footprint and get a score based on their results.

Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program is a program for high school girls interested in computer science. During the program I learned how computer science is applied to all technologies. At Bank of America I learned how computer science is important in the fields of business and finance as well.

CIEE’s High School Summer Abroad Program is an exchange program for high school students to study another country’s language and culture while attending school and living with a host family. In Nanjing, I attended Chinese classes at Nanjing University and took a college level Mandarin I course.
