This experience was instrumental in enhancing my technical and problem-solving skills. My role involved understanding and back-testing various corporate action events, identifying bugs, and raising JIRA tickets for the development team. I ensured our new database adhered to ISO 15022 standards, allowing me to read, understand, and rectify sequence errors in outputs.To capture corporate action events accurately, I conducted real-time research using tools like Eikon, Workspace, and Google. Additionally, I utilized SQL to fetch data from multiple databases, cross-verifying it with our new database to ensure data integrity.Overall, this project was a significant learning experience, enabling me to develop a deeper understanding of corporate action events and refine my technical expertise.
