As a graduate holding an M.A. in Applied Economics from Christ (Deemed to be) University, Bangalore, and a B.A. Hons. in Economics from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, I possess a strong foundation and keen interest in Trade Investment and Economic Relations (TIER) as well as Growth, Employment, and Macroeconomy (GEM). My research focuses on the applicability of macroeconomic theories in monetary economics and international trade finance, utilizing econometric modeling techniques.During my internship at the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER) from May 2023 to July 2024, under the supervision of Dr. Arpita Mukherjee in the Growth, Employment, and Macroeconomics (GEM) division, I worked on a project titled "Making India a Global EduTech Hub." My responsibilities included conducting a literature review, data extraction and collection, and analyzing CSR activities of state governments, companies, and NGOs to promote edutech in India.Throughout my academic journey and internship experience, I have developed a deep fascination for the practical applications of monetary and macroeconomics, particularly in understanding growth trends in the economy and the dynamics of international trade. My academic background and research experiences have equipped me with the analytical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary to contribute effectively to roles in economic research, policy analysis, and related fields.
