Purchase Management:-Formulating budgets for timely procurement of various critical components and ensuring uninterrupted supply of components to end users.-Preparing Technical Specification, floating the quotation and technical and commercial discussion with supplier and follow up procurement activity with supplier for timely delivery.Materials Management:-Assessing physical layout of warehouse/stores for storage of materials, spare parts & consumables and ensuring smooth accounting, issue of material to production & project sites.Vendor Development:-Strengthening vendor source and developing alternate source of suppliers.-Assessing the performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as percentage for rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, credit terms, etc.-Selecting Vendors/Suppliers for Tools development/Technical activities; monitoring incoming materials supplied by vendors and ensuring they are as per quality & quantity specifications.Specialties: -Procurement of all kind of material related to the Pipeline Project like welding, electrical, safety, hardware items, Field Joint Coating, Cathodic Protection, and Piping etc.-Coordination with every site for each item regarding quotation, comparative analysis, issuing of Purchase Orders, invoices, purchase requisitions etc.-Coordination with store about the quality and requirement of material.-Cross-checking vendors price with market price.-Verifying & Clearing suppliers invoice.
