• Handling the all import activities for Mobile Phones SKD for various plant locations.• Responsible for material’s part supplies & equipments in a timely & cost effective way; while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications .• Responsible for P.O issuance on the basis of monthly PSI & considering vendor lead time & transit time .• Making plan of payment LC or TT on approval of management & coordination with Finance to execution .• Responsible for shipment nomination, shipment movement & Custom clearance to meet TAT.• Checking & approval of BOE checklist and other documents since these documents cannot be changed/amended later.• Cordination with Overseas Supplier for shipment movement as per fixed plan. Coordinating with the Custom House Agent, Freight Forwarder agent, Shipping Line, Transporter, and all various service provider.• Preparing Import Register, Intransit Shipment report, Weekly Estimated Duty for Duty payment .• Maintaining Import Register (Tracker) on daily basis and calculate the percentage of CHA, Frieight Cost, Transportation and local charges like IHC, DO, sea freight and transportation of each shipment for the costing purpose and analysis purpose to minimize the cost.• Follow up with Excise Dept. to get concessional certificate for import with 0% BCD. • Review NFA (Note for Approval) on quaterly basis with Forwarder, CHA agent & Vendors.• Handling High Seas Sale shipment through Air and Sea mode.
