IoT Security (IoTS) Research Lab, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad.In Collaboration with C3i Hub, IIT Kanpur.As a part of this project, I developed several, projects, tools, and frameworks for the detection and prevention of cyber-attacks on IoT devices.Results:-Proposed a hybrid IoT Intrusion Detection/Prevention framework combining Machine Learning along withsignature-based detection having an accuracy of 97.5%.• Created a user interface to run scans on the network, perform incident response, generate reports, and notify admin.

SecureTea Project provides a one-stop security solution for various devices(personal computers/servers / IoT devices), I contributed the following features to the Project to make it better, Improvement in Network Intrusion Detection Module by adding attack detection ModulesIntegrated Whatsapp Notification Module to alert users on attack detection. Improved Website Defacement Detection Based on Machine Learning Techniques and Attack Signatures. Introduced Web Application Firewall Feature for filtering HTTP requests using Machine Learning Techniques.Results:-• Integrated Whatsapp Notification Module to alert users on attack detection. Used Twilio’s Whatsapp sandbox API.• Innovated Website Defacement Detection Feature using NLP, classification techniques, and signature-based detection,with a detection accuracy of more than 80% and a false positive rate of lower than 20%.• Introduced Web Application Firewall feature for filtering HTTP requests with an accuracy of 85%.• Improved Network Intrusion Detection Module by adding attack detection and Unit-Testing Modules.
