As the Executive Vice President of the New York business unit, I am responsible for managing operations of the following divisions in our New York office: - New Construction- Commissioning- Energy Management Services - Energy Procurement- Analysis, NY- Audit - Retrofit Consulting & Installation- On Site Generation ConsultingWorking closely with the directors of each division, and other operational departments, my responsibilities include: - Financial planning and growth strategy- Business and marketing strategy- Client relationships and retention- Knowledge sharing and subject matter expertise- Internal process optimization- Business unit policies and employee retention- Industry thought leadershipI take pride in being actively involved in the NYC energy efficiency & sustainability industry; speaking at various events, serving as a mentor, and contributing to on-going working groups related to various green programs, energy codes and carbon reduction laws.

As Director of New Construction, I led the new construction group, which is a part of the engineering division at Bright Power. The new construction team provides energy efficiency and sustainability consulting services such as: - Design reviews to optimize design and system selections- Construction phase inspections and testing (functional performance testing, blower door testing and duct tightness testing)- LEED certification - Enterprise Green Communities certification- Passive House certification (PHI and PHIUS)- Energy Star certification (low rise and mid rise)- NYSERDA incentive program facilitation- Commissioning (client preference, LEED, NYCECC compliant)I also served as a Senior Project Manager for new construction projects pursuing an array of services listed above.

At Bright Power, I provide energy management services for multifamily new construction and rehabilitation projects. My skills include:- Conducting extensive HVAC and architectural design reviews- Performing energy modeling- Assessing cost effectiveness and applicability of energy efficiency upgrades- Conducting construction inspections and energy audits- Participating in design and construction team meetings- Complying with relevant energy efficiency standards and incentive programsI also perform Commissioning services for new construction projects. My activities on a daily basis involve working with developers, owners, architects and MEP engineers to assure all criteria and quality standards are met, as well as optimizing designs for both new construction and rehab projects to exceed minimum energy efficiency standards. I also work with contractors to assure that design is implemented in the most energy efficient and high quality fashion possible. I am extremely organized with strong project management skills. I am knowledgeable in programs such as Enterprise Green Communities (EB&NC), NYSERDA MPP (EB&NC), LEED for Homes, LEED NC, LEED CI, ENERGY STAR certification, ENERGY STAR MFHR, HCR Green Building Criteria and Passive House. I have the ability to perform TR-8 inspections. I have also performed LL87 compliance in the past. I am proficient in modeling software such as TREAT, RemRate and 3EPlus.
