Duties include managing intellectual property (IP) processes and procedures, in managing and streamlining various aspects of OSU IP management including: IP disclosure analysis, prior art and clearance searches, patent prosecution, IP tracking and reporting, data management, license agreement terms and conditions implementation, license royalty and fee processing and export control compliance.

Coordinate Teledyne Technology's Patent portfolio company-wide, domestic and foreign, from conception to maintenance to abandonment, and provide guidance, incentives, and results within Teledyne. This includes:· serving as the contact for all outside counsels, company managers and inventors,· reviewing and approving every innovation disclosure,· leading innovation review committee meetings,· executing results of innovation review committee meetings,· serving as administrator to Inteum ensuring data is current and correct, establishing permissions, troubling shooting for all users and providing reports for everyone from inventors to the CEO,· creating spot and yearly IP budgets/estimations for each segment and the company as a whole,· evaluate and execute payment of IP incentive bonuses for Teledyne FLIR,· perform clearance searches,· perform portfolio characterization,· provide litigation support,· product mapping.

I manage Teledyne FLIR's IP company-wide, domestic and foreign, from conception to maintenance to abandonment, and provide guidance, incentives, and results within Teledyne FLIR.  This includes: · serving as the contact for all outside counsels, company managers and inventors, · reviewing and approving every innovation disclosure, · leading innovation review committee meetings, · executing results of innovation review committee meetings, · serving as administrator to Inteum o ensuring data integrity, o establishing permissions, o troubling shooting for all users and o providing reports for everyone from inventors to upper management, · creating spot and yearly IP budgets/estimations for each segment and the company as a whole, · evaluate and execute payment of IP incentive bonuses, · perform clearance searches, · perform portfolio characterization, · provide litigation support, · product mapping, · serve as the lead for Innovation Advocates from all business segments, · develop and implement company-wide procedures regarding o IP management, o portfolio tracking, o annuity/maintenance compliance and o innovation incentive programs.

I manage FLIR System’s IP company-wide, domestic and foreign, from conception to maintenance to abandonment, and provide guidance, incentives, and results within FLIR Systems.  This includes: · serving as the contact for all outside counsels, company managers and inventors, · reviewing and approving every innovation disclosure, · leading innovation review committee meetings, · executing results of innovation review committee meetings, · serving as administrator to Inteum o ensuring data is current and correct, o establishing permissions, o troubling shooting for all users and o providing reports for everyone from inventors to the CEO, · creating spot and yearly IP budgets/estimations for each segment and the company as a whole, · evaluate and execute payment of IP incentive bonuses, · perform clearance searches, · perform portfolio characterization, · provide litigation support, · product mapping, · develop and execute virtual marking compliance team, · serve as the lead for Innovation Advocates from all business segments, · develop and implement company-wide procedures regarding o IP management, o portfolio tracking, o annuity/maintenance compliance and o innovation incentive programs.
