• Promotes the benefits of insulin pod therapy and sells OmniPod Insulin Management System to providers and patients in group and/or individual sessions or as a continuing education offering.• Provides Omnipod product training to individuals and groups (both patients and healthcare providers).• Works in conjunction with Sales, Customer Care and Managed Care to achieve sales goals.• Works with providers and clinic diabetes champions to interpret Pod data to promote optimal results.• Assists with sales events such as pump clinics, pump support groups, info sessions, in-the-office educational events, patient info nights, JDRF walks, vendor days, etc.• Supports prescribers and clinics to ensure optimal success for their Omnipod patients.• Evaluates and recommends Certified Pod Trainers (CPTs) and Super CPTs who wish to become consultant CPTs for Insulet Corporation.• Assigns patient trainings to CPTs or conducts patient training based on business needs of territory, overall costs of training and timeliness of training.• Assists with providing regular product demos to patients and HCPs.• Oversees CPTs by seeing them face-to-face and by providing timely product updates and by being a clinical resource.• Assists with product training for Sales and Clinical hires.

• Maintain and grow the profitability of an assigned territory.• Resolve questions and problems, provide training, coordinate services and maintain Coram’s top quality image to current customers. • Utilize clinical skills to assist referral sources with identification of home IV candidates.• Develop and maintain relationships to provide responsive customer service. • Function as the clinical liaison between branch and assigned accounts. • Conduct in-services and continuing education programs for referral sources and/or their support staff. • Market new services, therapies and products to referral sources. • Expand the business relationships with accounts by presenting and negotiating Coram’s other programs including quality assurance, contractual agreements, reimbursement policies, infusion centers connections, local and national corporate networks. • Provide clinical expertise in support of the sales effort. • Educate patients and families on prescribed individual enteral home regimens while ensuring safe, appropriate practices are used.• Provide clinical nutrition support to patients and coordinate care with all of the individual's providers.

- Experience acting as Corporate Liaison between Nutritious Lifestyles, Inc. and Southern Healthcare Management and Avante Healthcare Services- Complete medical nutrition assessment of the nutrition status and nutritional needs of all clients as required by state and federal regulations and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards as applicable. - Identify clients with nutritional risk factors and develop an individualized plan of care for each client to address identified risk factors based on the prevailing standards of care. - Assess the status of all high risk clients, including clients with skin breakdown, on tube feeding or parenteral nutrition and clients with significant weight loss, a minimum of monthly as needed and determine if clients are proceeding toward the goals of the individualized plan of care and make revisions as necessary.- Provide nutrition education and group counseling to adolescents and adults.- Document on each client in accordance with the documentation standards set forth by Nutritious Lifestyles, Inc.- Maintain “Daily Tracking List” of all clients seen each day and a “Nutritional Risk Tracking List” for all high risk clients.- Complete Quality Assurance surveys, including monthly sanitation inspections, and tray line audis and provide guidance and corrective action based as appropriate. - Provide other services contracted for by each facility, including assistance with care plans, in- services, chart audits, training of dietary managers in charting and documentation, and physician consults.

• Experience working with patients regarding various therapeutic diets and medical nutrition therapy.• Performed nutrition assessments, nutritional follow-ups, calorie counts, tube feeding, TPN, and client educations with corresponding ADIME notes being charted and appropriate nutrition diagnoses being made.

• Assisted in converting Lakeland School District (LSD) menus and recipes from nutrient-based to food-based following USDA guidelines established in 2012. • Implemented cost-saving menu items and food-based ideas for LSD. • Planned and organized a theme meal involving demonstration cooking at Lakeland High School and Timberlake High School. • Conducted in-service presentations to Rathdrum Rotary Club and LSD’s kitchen staff.
