I have worked for in retail since 1997, when I began my degree; all in customer advisor roles and have worked for Boots for 19 years (joined 2003). This is the time for me to take steps to actively look for my next job in the profession that I’m most passionate about and have been for most of my life.So I am taking this opportunity to look for a change in a bid to fulfill my lifelong ambition of securing a job and subsequent career in the media sector. As a scriptwriter and novelist (I have been writing scripts and short stories since I was 10 years old, and am self published on Amazon and Smashwords).I have a huge passion for TV, books, magazines, social media, theatre and film, both as an avid fan and as a viable career. So I would welcome the chance to learn all that I can about the world of media and entertainment, in particular behind the scenes, and I would relish the chance to learn the ropes “on the job”, so to speak, in a bid to further my TV career, thus moving it into another direction.What I lack in experience, I more than make up for with enthusiasm, diligence, adaptability, a keenness and willingness to learn a huge bank of knowledge of the celebrity and entertainment culture and to work with others; either as a team player or off my own bat. I’m am just hoping that someone will be willing to find out for themselves what I am capable of. And for those who do take a chance on me, I guarantee that they will not be disappointed.

And while it has served me well insofar as dealing with the public on a daily basis, learning the ins and outs of the retail sector and mixing with colleagues and managers that I have learnt a great deal from, I am still striving on a daily basis to make my dream of becoming a professional writer a reality.
