I spent 10+ years practicing as a pharmacist in the Dallas,Tx area experiencing all of the pain points and frustrations first-hand that come with the territory. In my former role as Clinical Practice Manager, I worked closely with numerous software implementation teams in order to roll out different workflows as we onboarded new solutions and technology, yet I always found myself thinking, "Now that's the job I really want!! How do I do that?!" In an effort to find an answer to that question, I came across the book 'Indispensable', by Alex Barker, which led me to discern that my North Star and career inspiration would be to use technology in order to transform provider and patient experiences. At VPL, I blend my background as a pharmacist and passion for the pharmacy industry as I work with teams across our organization as well as closely with customers in order to ensure that everything we do is done so through a patient-centric lens as well as driving the vision and strategy for the pharmacy business!
