I have decades of experience helping companies from start-ups to Fortune 500s manage litigation, including Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) claims, CIPA claims, defending consumer class actions, contract and business disputes, and handling both offensive and defense challenges at the National Advertising Division (NAD). I also help my clients comply with the ever-changing landscape of federal, state, and local regulations, including Federal Trade Commission rules and guidance (FTC) and the ADA in public accommodation (Title III). I anticipate issues, plan compliance and litigation strategies, manage budgets, and help my clients look ahead to avoid costly roadblocks and litigation. I especially enjoy partnering with my clients to learn their business and their approach to litigation and risk management.I also have litigated voting rights cases across the country, including in Iowa, Michigan, Texas, and Georgia, and was part of the recount team in Georgia for the Biden Harris campaign.In partnership with Legal Voice, a non-profit dedicated to the advancement and equality of women and people who are LGBTQ+, I argued and won a groundbreaking case before the Washington State Supreme Court, Black v. Black, involving the rights of a lesbian mother.
