About Amanda Becker Dewey

As a graduate of Northeastern University, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing. Over the course of my studies, I completed two six-month internships as required by Northeastern’s core curriculum. My final six-month internship experience was at the NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Company working as a Marketing Intern. During my time at the Host Committee, I was supporting the Communications & Digital Marketing Manager on major digital initiatives as well as other marketing projects assigned by the Chief Marketing Officer. I communicated daily with multiple partner agencies to ensure quality and alignment of digital Host Company communications. Additionally, I coordinated a multi-agency event focused on security measures surrounding SB 48.My first six-month internship experience at PUMA North America, Inc. was in the wholesale merchandising department. As the Footwear Merchandising Associate, I was involved in a variety of business processes, exposing me to many different areas of a large retail operation. These processes included researching market trends for product development, sales and margin analyses to establish pricing strategy, as well as cross-merchandising for developing broader product ranges.I have also had two summer internships, which have included both financial services and retail companies. During these internships, I worked in the Customer Marketing department at ING DIRECT USA (now part of Capital One), where I developed an interest in digital marketing. I also worked at GSI Commerce, Inc. (now part of eBay) in their NFLShop.com department, gaining insight into the world of e-commerce merchandising.After graduation, I joined the Marketing Services team within Global Merchant Services at Amex. I then joined the Global Digital Platforms team within Global Commercial Payments. Most recently, I worked in the Enterprise Marketing Platforms & Solutions group. I am currently in the Digital Labs group.
