While heavily participating in first time homeownership programs, financial literacy, and neighborhood revitalization efforts, I learned that communication, whole hearted honest interactions, and structured approaches can bridge barriers, breakdown differences and close gaps amongst the diverse residents of Marion County. As a highly organized, strategic, and timely individual, my versatile skill set allows me to be uniquely qualified to coordinate large scale projects ensuring the client's vision is not only met but exceeded. I have been fortunate to identify out of the box recruitment strategies focusing on creating a diverse workforce. I possess close to two decades of experience leading long term high asset projects, managing resources, developing staff, and ultimately investing in challenging situations leading to successful outcomes. My daily functions involve leading complex technological projects, managing multiple resource allocations, as well as possessing a strong focus on career development and retention. Through a variety of methods I have recruited over a thousand volunteers through multi year initiatives in partnership with several local Non Profit organizations to provide free Tax preparation services throughout Marion county . Post completion of my M.A. in Sociology, I have chosen to expand my talents to a multimillion dollar healthcare network, while continuing to participate with VITA Tax program as a lead volunteer/site coordinator for 7 years. I am currently employed with one of the largest Health Networks in the state of Indiana, specializing in Finance & Government regulatory compliance. I have become an integral part of streamlining & processing daily Accounts Receivable in excess of $21 million dollars per day. Along with my experience in the Healthcare market I have managed between 25 and 55 employees for over 5 years consecutively. My current affiliations include being a Member of Women & Hi Tech in addition to being an avid supporter of local artists, I am extremely motivated and excited to partner with members of the Indianapolis Community and beyond.
