In my youth, I was fortunate to discover my passion and ambition for cooking. I can remember as early as third grade really having had caught the “cooking bug” . Growing up in Lansing, Michigan, I became very formilliar with family members kitchens and even a few restaurants around the area. To further my education in cooking, I set my sights on attending Johnson and Wales University. After four years, I graduated in February 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in a focus in baking and pastry. During the duration of the four year bachelors program at Johnson and Wales, I completed two separate internships. My first, was in France, studying at Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Pâtisserie. The second was my internship at Thomas Keller's Bouchon Bakery in Yountville, California. This internship, then evolved into a longer term employment opportunity. As for the future of my career, I am excited for all the different paths that the Baking and Pastry field can and will take me.
