Profile bio

About Amanda Bernavil

In August 2015, I graduated from the University of Central Florida- Rosen College of Hospitality Management, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Event Management. As a graduate of one of the top hospitality colleges in the world, I believe I have acquired the necessary knowledge to assist with a variety of events and development work. Working as the Event Manager for the Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention, I have developed an understanding of leading a team in a small non-profit and how to better implement important events to improve the image of an organization to the community. Through being an Admissions Officer with the University of Central Florida Rosen College, I not only gained excellent communication skills, but have interacted with all types of people, learning about the importance of diversity and inclusion. My ability to multitask is evident through my working two jobs at Rosen and Publix, and taking a Graduate level events course at one point as well. Dedication, leadership, and enthusiasm have become the basis of my work ethic during my event positions at the Amelia Island Club, Alzheimer’s Association and Indian Hills Country Club and I plan to continue to embrace this ethic throughout my career.
