I consider myself a true "Scripps' Success Story"! My first role in the organization was "Surgery Scheduler/Physician Secretary" in 2006, then I became a Lead for Peri-operative Services working closely with Nursing staff and patients, which led me to an Ambulatory Informatics role. In 2015, I joined IT on the Ambulatory Services Team, in an entry level Analyst position, promoted to Lead, then Manager, and I now have the honor to ne the Director of the same team I have been a part of since Epic implementation at Scripps! I had multiple opportunities to advance my career to get me to where I am today, from Ambulatory Informatics > Dragon Analyst > EpicCare Ambulatory Analyst > AMB Application Team Lead > Information Services Manager for Ambulatory Services> Director and I still have room to grow as a Scripps Leader! We also have another path for Technical Career growth that allows Analysts to advance to Specialist > Enterprise Architect > Principal Architect and beyond. I have continuously advanced my career at Scripps over the last 18 years and it is important to me to support each team member in achieving their personal and professional goals as well.
