The Corporate Social Responsibility Associate conducts analyses to evaluate changes and trends related to stakeholder, framework and company materiality and requirements, as well as completing peer benchmarking, to drive prioritization and continuous improvement. The Earth Team is NRCS’ volunteer workforce that is making a difference in every county in the nation. NRCS works with private landowners to improve soil quality, conserve water, improve air quality and enhance wildlife habitat. Earth Team volunteers work side-by-side with conservation professionals and are an integral part of the conservation partnership.This position involved working with private landowners to provide them with environmental conservation counselling and assistance. Throughout the summer I gained additional GIS and fieldwork experience, assisting with several projects including pasture management, river restoration, wetland management, soil testing etc.2015 Regional and National Earth Team Volunteer Award Recipient.
