With over 16 years experience in the living history, historic house museums, and historic preservation sector, I am passionate about bringing history to life through the study of material culture and preservation of artifacts. By striving to create authentically furnished historic interiors, my goal is to create engaging experiences that resonate with diverse audiences, ensuring that all histories are part of the interpretation of the historic site.In my current role as Visiting Curator of Collections and Decorative Arts, I am implementing a new furnishing plan at Wilton House Museum. Overseeing the care and management of the museum's collections, I am also curating a new exhibition in the museum galleries on Moving Wilton to better understand the history of house was saved and moved to its present location in 1934. At Colonial Williamsburg, I developed a keen eye for the staging of historical settings, a skill that now serves to enrich the storytelling at Wilton House. My work ensures that every objects stands as a testament to the intricate tapestry that is our shared history.
