In this role, I verify the accuracy and quality of as-built plans, including main and service pipe and fittings and ensure the recording of necessary compliance details.As Engineering Technician, I provide multiple training for Southwest Gas personnel and contractors for Southwest Gas, ranging from the review of ACs (accelerated construction orders) to the use of Field Manager and proper as-built documentation.I played a key role in undertaking the clean-up of over 2500 open work orders, including researching the issues halting them from moving forward and coordinating with other departments to get those issues fixed. I also review all incoming mapping update orders to determine if follow-up action is required, and to provide the appropriate backup documentation to mapping to fix any errorsAs part of my job duties, I review construction orders, inventory lists, and project tracking software to confirm accuracy and consistency, and effectively report findings to the appropriate supervisors.My high level of professionalism, excellent attention to detail and ability to work with limited supervision are instrumental in my continued success in this role.

During this period, I actively participated in researching, calculating and completing billing adjustments for contractors, and used iProcurement to process payment authorizations. Highly focused on promoting good internal/external customer relations and ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and regulations, I reviewed reports/exceptions related to customer accounts and requests, and analyzed data required to identify the appropriate course of action.
