Servicing, amongst others, two of the UK's largest pharmaceutical companies European road freight & distribution, with a 60 million pound remit. Position includes: Managing a team of over 20 planners and operators at centralised UK office, including planning managers, supervisors and analysts. Working closely with clients to align processes to get the best possible vehicle utilisation in order to drive down spend, increase productivity and provide an improved service. Setting up of KPI's to track and trend internal and external performance in order to target and improve where required. Attendance and presentation at customer MBR's and QBR's in order to share data and drive efficiencies in each operation and align expectations.Support internal finance, administration, business development, contract and compliance teams where required.Understand P&L for all contracts utilising the control tower operations and support with client understand of costs.Development of IT systems to improve accuracy and efficiency in the operation.
