- Working with a team of teachers to create and carry out routines and activities that are developmentally appropriate for children grades 2-5, while also being mindful of individual differences among students. - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and learn through social interactions, fine and gross motor activities, and problem solving. - Set up snacks that abide by allergy and nutritional guidelines. - Assist students with homework in varying grade levels. - Establish and maintain regular daily communication with parents, and document any incidents or observations.

- Supervise 8-10 children that vary between 2-3 years of age. - Assist lead teacher in every day activities including: toilet training, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, dramatic play, music. - Encourage play amongst students as well as independence with daily activities such as cleanings, eating, pushing, pulling, and climbing. - Participate in team meetings to discuss development, challenges, and successes among students in classroom.

- Assist students to achieve goals listed on IEPs, including academic and social emotional goals, using ABA techniques. - Collect data to reflect progress of achieving IEP goals.- Completion of district approved de-escalation and safety care training.- Small group instruction and assistance for math, writing, and reading.- Assist classroom teacher with evaluations, classroom organization and preparation, as well as substituting in the absence of classroom teacher or another educator in the building. - Assist children with daily functions within the school environment. - Support social and emotional needs of students through positive relationship building, appropriate support, and engaging instruction.

- Assist the classroom teacher to include the student in all aspects of the school day.- Implement the academic and social programming and strategies as developed by the inclusion team. - Implement accommodations and modifications as outlined on the IEP and behavior plan, while collecting relevant data.

- Received promotion within Outpatient Psychiatry from Practice Assistant to Resource Specialist. - Triage new patients to the clinic and set them up with the most appropriate provider based on symptoms, diagnosis, and insurance. - Documenting concise intake notes for providers discussing patient’s reasons for referral. - Effectively communicate with providers outside of the clinic that referred patients to the clinic for continued care. - Giving resources and referrals to patients in their community if for any reason they do not meet criteria for our clinic. - Received nomination from colleague for Partner’s Excellence Award in 2015.
