Amanda Carmen Bower is passionate about people, plants, and public space. An arts administrator and classical singer by training, a recent pivot from opera-focused community engagement led Amanda to Cornell University, where she studies landscape architecture and planning, utilizing her creative skills to design just and beautiful urban spaces that foster human connection. Amanda earned a Bachelor of Music in 2010, and she is grateful to have spent the years since teaching voice and performing professionally with numerous early and new music ensembles. Her interests include hiking, hosting dinner parties, tasting wine, running, urban agroforestry, learning Italian, and baking sourdough.
