I have been with the company since May 2011, was promoted to shift manager in July 2012 and completed training in December 2012.As shift manager, I am in charge of 4-6 employees on a given shift. I manage the money in the safe as well as loans to the registers, authorize deliveries to the store, customer service, general appearance/cleanliness of the store, and making sure the customer has a great experience. When I am not the manager on duty, I am often the manager of the deli where I am in charge of customer service, making sure food gets to the customer in a timely manner, making sure all food choices for the day are available, and ensuring all food is up to standards. I also often assist the manager on duty by putting away stock quickly on nights a delivery is brought in.
