- Responsible for delivering and implementing the customer experience strategy and new store concepts into our Thurrock and Hedge End Megastores.- Improving the customer experience with a wide variety of Consumer Electronics manufacturers to continually refresh our customer offering, through in store presence, including merchandising, store layout, POS and fixturing.- Project manage all Consumer Electronics category initiatives from initial concept through to store launch.- Engage and delegate to all Head Office teams regarding new initiatives requested via the Range Review process and then manage through to store install and launch. - Set, control and manage all project timelines - ensuring all key stakeholders are aware of any changes or updates to the original brief.- Manage the Marketing Calendar for ‘Deal Sets’ and ‘TV Deals’.- Work closely with Format, Space & Design to launch adhoc new initiatives and trials in store.- Liaise and work with some of the largest Consumer Electronics brands in the world – Samsung, LG, Sony, Panasonic, Sonos and Bose.- Review performance of store initiatives to ensure that they are working and take action to rectify if they are not.- Work closely with the Insight Team to ensure we are delivering to the ‘customer plan’.- Produce detailed Business Cases for all projects.- Design, create and install the ‘CE stand’ for the Christmas Conference at NEC for 5,000 colleagues and suppliers

Space Planning Development- Act as Space Planning Representative for all new concept project streams.- Use ‘competitor shopping trips’ and customer insight to develop category adjacencies and macro level layouts and gain high level sign off.- Work with Shop Fitting companies and Design teams to inform on new fixture creation and ensure that these fixtures work for customers, colleagues and Head Office teams.- Analyse ‘Range V Space’ for all categories included in concept and ensure enough floor space is available for: deacceleration, dwelling, browsing and selection.- Develop new POS and ensure that this fits on both Macro and Micro levels. - Communicate and uphold Space Planning process and principles with all levels of management on each project. - Using ‘competitor shopping trips’ to develop the visual merchandising for our new store concept within Harrods.- Responsible for maintaining the visual merchandising guidelines for Harrods once opened.- Develop and maintain the visual merchandising of window executions in 30 best performing High Street stores.Dixons Retail, Hemel Hempstead, Oct 2008 - June 2011Visual Space Planner- Research, develop and communicate merchandising solutions for up to 15 assigned categories.- Build and present all merchandising display solutions as part of the Commercial sign off.- Create and maintain ‘merchandising instructions’ for up to 600 stores.- Analyse ‘range v space’ for assigned categories and use experience to inform new and existing store layouts/CADs.- Input on new POS and its ‘look and feel’ alongside the products on display.- Assist the Transformation Team when opening new stores to ensure the store opens on time and to budget. - Act as the face of ‘Space, Format & Design’ when discussing ‘my categories’ with Directors, Heads Of, Buyers, Merchandisers and Stores.

- Working closely with various retailers (Inc. Tesco and Post Office) to implement new mailing products into their stationery ranges.- Plan store space and allocate stock accordingly.- Working closely with suppliers and warehouses to ensure deliveries to both us and our customers were on time and accurate.- Develop new products from scratch as part of customer demand and then manage through to product launch.- Keep track of all projects and close down outstanding issues in a timely manner or escalate where required.- Negotiate prices and delivery terms with suppliers.- Organise trade shows for ‘sub post masters’ across the UK.- Organise and take part in a number of store refurbishments

- Communicate with 5 Hotel Resorts in Jamaica.- First point of call for guests, both via telephone and face to face.- Organise bookings, quotations, queries, credit control, data entry, filing and any other general admin.- PA to the Marketing & Advertising Director.- Organise courier deliveries between UK Head Office and Hotels in Jamaica.- Share wedding plans with the hotels to ensure all details are communicated ahead of the guests arriving for their ‘dream day’.
