After 14 years in the environmental consulting industry, Dr. Amanda Cohen has joined Resi Solutions as the President and Co-Founder. Dr. Cohen is experienced with environmental permitting and compliance in the the oil and gas, generation, and transportation industries and specializes in the management of multi-disciplinary teams for siting, analysis, permitting and construction of large projects, including multi-state linear projects. She has managed projects that involve federal, state, and local permitting, including NEPA, cultural and biological field surveys, special status plant species surveys, cave and karst surveys, and archaeological data recovery. On projects, Dr. Cohen focuses on execution and management, developing strategies for successful completion, negotiating, and managing technical issues, budget, and staff on large to small-scale initiatives. Dr. Cohen focuses on building client relationships and consistently providing high quality services. Dr. Cohen holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology from UCLA and is well versed in federal, state and local regulations in New Mexico and Texas.
