This past year I was a kindergarten teacher in the Des Plaines School Districts. I am currently working on my ELL endorsement through Olivet University, and will be finished by February 2012. Then I will continue on to complete my masters in Curriculum and Instruction by Winter of 2012.Specialties: -Leadership and mentoring-moitivated problem solving and creativity-Comfortable and competent in challenging work environments--Self motivated - ability to work cooperatively and independently-Computer literate - proficient in a variety of software I believe students need to explore their interests through extra curricular activities to make them well rounded citizens. To encourage this belief this past winter I coached 5th grade girls basketball in Western Springs.
