Currently, seeking a part-time position (remote or hybrid/ NYC-based) ideally in the fine arts, nonprofit, or communications sectors.........................................................................................................................................................................As an environmental sociologist and art educator, I have a passion for community outreach, environmental/art education, marketing, and communications. I am a well-rounded professional who excels in communication and organization. I believe efficient, inclusive communication is key to growth - on a personal level, as a company and as communities. I am committed to my personal development and continually pursuing work that is aligned, meaningful, and impactful. I am currently the Junior Artmuse art instructor at Artmuse studio in Flushing, NY. I teach 48 students (ages 7-12) distributed across 9 weekly 80 mins classes and private lessons. Each of my students receives a monthly personal progress report and bimonthly portfolio. I am responsible for sample prep, lesson planning, classroom organization, setting personal learning targets for each student as well as designing a clear program curriculum. Alongside our studio's director, I plan and co-facilitate our studio’s day camps and week -long seasonal camps. As of Nov 2024, I am designing and implementing a strategic social media campaign on the studio’s Instagram.
