Amanda D'Ascanio is the owner and principal designer of AKD Interiors, a full service interior design firm that is committed to helping busy professionals and families through the detailed process of a home renovation or new build. AKD Interiors guides homeowners through the design and selections process. As a part of the builders team, she works as a liason between the builder and homeowner making sure all the pertinent information gets relayed to the builders project manager. Her goal is not only have a beautiful end result but to keep the builder on schedule and the homeowners on budget.

At The Childs Dreyfus Group, Amanda helped grow the company by generating leads, gaining new accounts, closing sales and supporting existing clients. She effectively communicated product and company value to her clients. After her first year with the company she was awarded "Sales Person of the Year." She worked with a team of designers and managed numerous projects, with a focus on model homes. It was her job to make sure that the model home that was being designed and built, spoke to potential home buyers and was installed in time for the builders grand opening of their new community. She worked with national home builders such as Pulte Homes, Toll Brothers, K. Hovnanian as well smaller developers. Through her experience she gained extensive project management skills, knowledge of the building and construction process as well as knowledge of building products and materials.

On-Site Sales and Marketing provides home builders with marketing and sales solutions throughout the New York Metro area. Amanda performed and assisted in tasks for the marketing team, department, and manager to development and execute marketing strategies, campaigns, and events to maximize sales and profits.
