I have extensive experience of communicating with several types of people including exhibition companies, customers, suppliers and all lines of internal and external staff, whether this be on the telephone, via email or face to face. Communication is key to a successful business and it is important to ensure the right level and type is used, to avoid misunderstandings.I have excellent IT skills, as I frequently use Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Oracle, QuarkXPress, Adobe Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, to help me produce adverts, brochures and literature in my current role.I have a keen interest and energy for agriculture as my husband manages his family run dairy and arable farm.. Furthermore, when I was growing up my parents also had a dairy farm; therefore I have a good knowledge and appreciation of the agricultural industry. I am fully aware of the difficulties that have faced farmers over the past year, the pitifully low milk price and the increasing cost of production, have been extremely hard for many farmers. Having witnessed firsthand the hurdles faced by our farmers, I am keen to become more involved and provide help and guidance where I can.I am a conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to detail. I'm a motivated individual, who is quick to pick up new skills and is eager to learn from others, Organising National Shows and producing sire brochures has required me to regularly act on my own initiative, whilst prioritising my workload to meet strict deadlines.I have enjoyed and thrived on all the new challenges that have been put before me and look forward to taking on my next challenge in my career.
