I was responsible for assembling and implementing a new menu planning software program. To do this, I input nutrients, allergens, ordering information, and food group equivalents. I also created and standardized recipes for each menu item. I assisted in planning 7 menus for the upcoming school year that complied with USDA guidelines. I also created monthly fruit and vegetable educational handouts and developed promotions for the school year. The school participated in the summer lunch program, and I assisted and supervised the 23 summer lunch sites.
