As well as strategic communications, I handled the club’s crisis management and media relations activities from football matters to corporate issues such as ownership.Highlights- Directly accountable for initiating, leading and executing the communications strategy for the complex relocation from Highbury to Emirates Stadium, as well as the design and layout of the media facilities in the state-of-the-art arena. - Responsible for managing all media activity for major footballing events including UEFA Champions League and FA Cup finals as well as Premier League trophy winning campaigns.- Led the creative campaign for The Final Salute, marking the last season at Highbury and initiated the ‘Arsenalisation’ of Emirates Stadium- Established the Arsenal Charity of the Season in 2003. During my final season at the club, the initiative raised over £800,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital and generated £1.5m of positive media coverage.- Created a media training programme that was rolled out to over 150 Arsenal scholars.
