Amanda’s passion has always been dance! She trained in Waterloo, Ontario in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, and Modern dance. Her extensive Ballet training led her to obtain the Royal Academy of Dance Advanced 1 Certificate. She has taught Beginner to Advanced level dance classes to students age 2 to adult, at studios in Smithers British Columbia, Waterloo and St. Catharines Ontario. Amanda is an active Member of the Royal Academy of Dance as well as a Certified Acrobatic Arts Instructor. Amanda is the proud winner of the Smithers District Chamber of Commerce Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2012-2013. Her ambition and focus on achieving her dream to own her own dance studio one day lead her to Brock University's Business School in St. Catharines Ontario. In 2011, Amanda graduated from Brock University with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing. During University, Amanda danced recreationally and competitively with Brock Dance along with teaching Beginner and Advanced Ballet classes to other University students. She was the Marketing Executive for Brock Dance and successfully organized and ran various fundraising showcases, banquets, events, and recitals.Amanda is passionate about inspiring others. She also instructs Total Barre and Bootcamp Group Fitness classes. She holds her Group Fitness Instructor Certification through CFES. She holds certifications in Merrithew Total Barre Certified Instructor, Barre Above Certified Instructor, and Tabata GX Trainer.
