Provide direct support to approximately 150 of my own clients with their Federal COBRA and Flexible spending account needs. Effectively communicate with external & internal clients as well as team members. Specific Federal COBRA duties include but not limited to: Administer initial COBRA paperwork, manage open enrollment, coverage enrollment with insurance carriers, monthly premiums, terminations, work closely with Brokers to unsure accurate insurance rate changes, manage data entry based upon employee elections, research and correct benefit enrollment issues and/or benefit carrier discrepancies, monitor and correct errors accordingly, ensure that employee coverage changes are updated with benefit vendors, answer questions regarding employee benefits. Flex- Processes participants claims and benefit card substantiation. Process weekly-monthly pay day reports for each client. Cut reimbursement checks for participants Ensures all plans are in compliance with IRS regulations.
