I was trained to be a Behavioral Health employee.My duties as a Therapuetic Mentor include, educating myself on the background of the youth in need of services. The case file includes strengths and goals that the youth should meet while meeting with the Mentor. As a mentor, I have to help the youth meet these goals in a step by step fashion, while out in a community setting.Also, I must document each and every meeting with youth and keep the highest level of care informed on the weekly progress.
