Registration Unit Manager
Current• Manages the City of Berkeley's Rent Stabilization Board Annual Registration cycle each fiscal year. • Manages the revenue collection of the $6.1 million Rent Board Operating Budget • Oversees and Presents penalty waiver requests to the Rent Board Commissioners. • Supervisors the Annual Collections Project • Maintains the Rent Registry Database • Supervises 5 full-time employees, and two temporary staffers. • Attends and Present at Month Board Meetings • Attend Ad Hoc committee meetings as needed. • Oversight of the Registration Requirements of the Rent Stabilization Ordinance. • Analyzes and Recommends Ordinance updates as need or directed by the Board.
