Over the course of my career at Merchants Fleet, we saw 5X growth--from $500M in AUM to $2.5B. During that time, specifically in 2022 in the midst of a tumultuous M&A environment, Merchants struck a successful deal to be acquired by Bain Capital, ADIA and the Company Leadership team. I served as key personnel on the deal, acting as the deal manager on the business side for the company, driving the marketing, presentation, communication, and due diligence processes internally. Once the deal was complete, I stayed about a year to support communication, transition and integration, while also launching a new era for the company's PMO, managing a $13M budget, and then resigning to pursue personal goals and a new career path, at which time I said goodbye to my incredible other 10 executive team peers and a team of about 50 people. I will forever be grateful for the culture we built, the friends I made, and...yes...even the lives we changed--Merchants makes fleet sexy.

As a member of the executive team reporting directly to the CEO for my entire tenure, I had the chance to directly impact and often lead transformation initiatives for the company as it sped forward as the fastest-growing fleet management company of the time. The company provides flexible funding and service options for organizations that leverage vehicles to run their operations. With over 175,000 managed vehicles nationwide, we were tasked with driving innovative programs and technologies to improve fleet operations all over the country. Vehicles are a core part of the country's supply chain and infrastructure, often forgotten about by many...but not by Merchants.I was often tasked with the launch of new projects and departments, serving in a "Chief of Staff" and "Strategy" capacity in addition to my core functions of Marketing and Innovation. In order to drive brand equity and move upstream in the market, the company brought Marketing in-house, and we successfully built an agency-style marketing team, often considered the best in the industry and growing from 3 to 20 people. We supported both the B2C and B2B businesses in personal auto and commercial fleets. Separately, I led the launch of the company's first Innovation department, focused on R&D, product innovation, and innovation culture--which supported the launch and go-to-market strategy for 6 new business lines during that time. Over the course of my VP tenure, I oversaw all marketing functions to include a $7-10M budget, product go-to-market, sales support, corporate communication, new building projects, and employee events; innovation; ESG & Sustainability; strategy and business planning, and Chief of Staff responsibilities. We made it happen at Merchants.

In 2018, we launched an ambitious strategic direction to achieve more than 150% growth in 7 years. As the Director of PMO for all business-related projects, I was tasked with leading initiatives that supported the strategic direction. These included a corporate rebrand and renewed marketing strategic, new building move, employee engagement initiatives, strategic pursuits to move upstream, and operations process improvement. Because of our rigorous focus at the beginning of the company's transformation, we achieved our plan 3 years ahead of schedule, and had a blast doing it.
As Partner at velocityHUB, I was responsible for corporate client acquisition, client success and professional development programs. The company focused on corporate training programs, business consulting and executive coaching to many of the world’s leading companies, small and medium businesses, and non-profits. Services included:- Strategic & Business Planning Services- Sales & Marketing Optimization Services- Leadership Transformation Services- Sales Training- Professional Leadership Training- Collegiate & High School Leadership Training- Student-Athlete Training- Professional Development Programs- Executive Business Coaching
As Associate Partner and Executive Director of the Victory Academy, I served a dual role--supporting corporate clients while also leading the company's first-ever athletic and professional development program for students and student-athletes. During my time at velocityHUB, we grew the the Victory Academy to over 40 institutions, including several Ivy League and NESCAC programs.
Managed marketing activities for two operating companies--Velocity Performance and WorkForce Extended.
